VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (October 19, 2011) – Arc 2 Intertainment’s FMA is pleased to announce it will be the Presenting Sponsor of the upcoming Vancouver Fashion Week  Spring Summer 2012 VIP Opening Gala on November 1^st, 2011, to be held at Masik Studio.

Vancouver-based Andy Chu, fashion and entertainment veteran has become synonymous with the fashion industry in Vancouver. A loyal supporter of the industry since 2004, Chu has supported local fashion, music and art through his legendary large scale FMA Vancouver productions held at Vancouver’s Centre of Performing Arts.

Chu’s 2010 production FMA Fashion Week Pop & Culture Festival marked a new trend in Vancouver fashion celebrations. Incorporating fashion, music and art in a week -long extravaganza, the celebration included a spectacular sold out Opening Night Gala and Awards Ceremony, 3 nights of fashion shows and musical performances, showroom shopping exhibits, art installations, VIP receptions with retailers and restaurants throughout the city supporting the week and the charity’s beneficiary The Sarah McLachlan School of Music (SOM).  

As a huge believer in Vancouver fashion industry’s emerging and established designers, Chu’s decision to put his renowned FMA style and brand to Vancouver Fashion Week’s 2012 Opening Gala comes as no surprise.  He has become well-known for his charitable events within the Vancouver community and is recognized by many members of the local and national fashion industry, from fashion press and media to some of Canada’s own renowned designers and fashion icons.
